Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its Fortify Building Solutions division in Atwater, CA. The role focuses on inventory control, safety, and team leadership in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse.

You will manage cycle counts, track shipments, train new hires, and coordinate with logistics to optimize workflow. This full-time position offers overtime potential and competitive hourly pay between $25.50 and $28.00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years of related work experience in manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience a plus; must be trainable on forklift.
• Crane experience a plus; must be trainable on crane.
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly and work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, stock organization, and order fulfillment.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and warehouse regulations.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and verify documentation accuracy.
• Train and mentor new hires, fostering a positive team environment.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize warehouse workflow.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-driven strategies.
• Inspire and lead employees to enhance productivity and achieve set production targets.
• Collaborate with production supervisor to manage daily operations; track team performance and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment is operational and meets standards.
• Maintain organized warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by management.
