Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Mount Pleasant, IA. The role focuses on loading and unloading materials, operating a forklift, and supporting operations across the branch site.

You will inspect equipment, assist with inventory, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while following PPE guidelines. The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to become forklift and overhead crane certified.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $18.06 per hour

1st Shift: 5:00AM - 1:30PM

*This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials and products to support operations at the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
