Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Lead to manage daily warehouse operations on a Tue-Sat schedule. This full-time role involves supervising the warehouse team, coordinating packing, shipping, receiving and inventory, and ensuring shipments are accurate and ready for delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Previous warehouse experience is required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and packing/shipping/receiving operations.
Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse.
Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments and perform inventory checks.
Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
Address shipping discrepancies with team members as needed and rectify problems.
Assist with inventory counts and ordering warehouse supplies.
Participate in training, motivation and reviews of team members.
