Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise the warehouse team and ensure efficient packing, shipping and inventory management. The role involves assisting the supervisor, overseeing shipping/receiving, and maintaining accuracy of records.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a supervisory role, warehouse experience, and strong communication skills, plus a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position offering health and retirement benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Warehouse environment experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, including lifting and carrying materials.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Address shipping discrepancies with team members.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Assist in selection, training, motivation and performance reviews of team members.
