Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Lead to join our team in Ohio. This full-time role supports the Warehouse Manager and leads the warehouse team in packing, shipping, receiving and inventory activities.

You will oversee accurate shipments, participate in inventory counts, and help train and motivate team members while ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes a family culture with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits such as

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver3s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, including lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies and work with team members to rectify problems
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
