Qualifications

• Six months related experience or a satisfactory combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license through Warren Distribution.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse work environment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily responsibilities of team members to meet shipping/receiving needs.
• Prepare and distribute assignments to team members.
• Safely use powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials and products.
• Record movement of materials in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets accurately.
• Inventory materials and products and record weights.
• Maintain safety check-off sheets and perform equipment maintenance tasks.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas, machines, and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
