Job summary

Highline Warren Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Council Bluffs, IA to lead a warehouse team and manage daily operations. You will ensure accurate shipments and safe, efficient workflows across receiving, storage, and shipping processes.

The role requires forklift operation, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvements and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field, six months related experience, or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
• Must obtain forklift license through Highline Warren Distribution.
• Proven warehouse supervisory experience.
• Warehouse and logistics experience preferred.
• Management/leadership experience or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates engaged in warehouse functions; assign tasks and priorities.
• Maintain staffing levels and prepare schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Lead department meetings and manage budget-aligned expenses.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Direct storage, inventory, shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and related activities.
• Oversee forklift fleet and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor paperwork flow for timely data entry.
• Foster growth through feedback and training.
