Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Warehouse Lead at the Devens, MA site to supervise daily warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, inventory recording, and safety compliance. You will mentor peers, coordinate shipping/paperwork, and ensure efficient, accurate processing of inbound and outbound materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years warehousing experience, ideally in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Industrial powered equipment experience required.
• Working knowledge of PC applications (SAP, Excel, Word, FedEx, UPS).
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with cGMP, SOPs and/or Work Instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to shift priorities easily.
• External training for shipment of Hazardous materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily task assignments for processing all daily picking, packing and shipping of finished product and miscellaneous shipments.
• Oversee inbound receipts and processing of raw material receipts and labeling, sampling, inventory data sheets; supplier status sample size and units to be sampled.
• Enter inventory/adjust inventory locations in the computer system and verify inventory accuracy.
• Train warehouse associates on equipment and warehouse processes using proper safety procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee shipping paperwork and HazMat packaging as required and ensure compliance with SOPs and customer requirements.
• Assist in audit preparation and maintenance of warehouse documents.
