Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Lead to manage daily warehouse operations on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm. This role involves supervising a warehouse team, coordinating packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control, and driving accuracy in shipments while ensuring a positive, growth-focused work environment.

Ideal candidates have prior warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members.
