Job summary

Avient Corporation, based in Ohio, seeks a Warehouse Manager to plan, direct and optimize warehouse operations at the Avon Lake plant with focus on inventory accuracy and timely reporting. The role develops staff, implements SOPs, and manages inbound/outbound activities, cycle counts, and ERP usage (SAP).

It requires strong leadership, effective communication and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field is required.
• 6+ years of experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or related field.
• Experience with SAP EWM (S4 Extended Warehouse Management) is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Exposure to SAP best practices and standard operating procedures is expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Warehouse associates to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
• Provide strategic oversight of daily warehouse operations including goods receipts, issues, picklists, cycle counting, and stock put away.
• Develop warehouse staff and implement training; monitor output and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations for MRP, cycle counting, and reports.
• Establish warehouse strategies, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and ISO procedures.
