Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, set daily priorities, and direct the team to achieve objectives while maintaining strong service to distribution centers, customers, and suppliers.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations, including compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations. On-site work in a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years’ warehouse experience, including strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving and shipping and inventory control processes, procedures and practices.
• Must be familiar with related OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisors to determine the daily, weekly, and monthly workload.
• Direct team of employees and provide leadership and assistance with the daily operations to meet all daily objectives.
• Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
• Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.
• Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficiently.
• Assist management with safety initiatives.
