Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Missouri is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced, cold-temperature environment. You will lead and motivate a team, understand warehouse workflow, perform start/end of shift tasks, and handle paperwork while building pallets and loading/unloading trailers.

Case picking and basic dock duties are part of the role. Entry-level candidates are welcome, with higher starting rates possible for those with forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates are welcome!
• 2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation may qualify for a higher start rate.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Our warehouse is cold. You must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures from -20F to 80F.
• You must be able to walk or stand for the entire 8 hour shift and to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Able to lead and motivate a group of employees.
• Understands the warehouse workflow and can efficiently execute tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning, wrapping pallets.
• Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
• Perform start and end of shift tasks including sweeping and cleaning in the warehouse.
• Some manual material handling may be required.
