Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage is seeking a warehouse associate to perform dock tasks, scan and wrap pallets, and build pallets for customer orders in a cold warehouse environment.

Requirements include 2–5 years of warehouse experience, forklift operation, and a Double Pallet Jack certification; ability to work 8 hours standing, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate temperatures from -20F to 80F. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

• Able to work in a cold warehouse and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning and wrapping pallets.
• Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
• Perform start and end of shift tasks including sweeping and cleaning in the warehouse.
• Some manual material handling may be required.
• Case picking and building pallets as required by customers.

Job description

Hours - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with possible weekend overtime

• Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning, wrapping pallets.
• Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
• Perform start and end of shift tasks including sweeping and cleaning in the warehouse.
• Some manual material handling may be required.
• Case picking and building pallets as required by customers.

Preferred Experience and Education

• 2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Our warehouse is cold. You must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures from -20F to 80F. You must be able to walk or stand for the entire 8 hour shift and to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
