Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a driver to support trailer movements between four Nor-Am facilities and local customers. The role requires safe operation, daily inspections, accurate paperwork, and clear communication with drivers and staff.

Starting pay rate is $25-$28 per hour based on experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k with company match, tuition reimbursement, and earned wage access.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer movements between Nor-Am facilities and local customers.
• Complete daily equipment inspections per company requirements.
• Follow regulations and speed limits on public roads and company property.
• Complete necessary daily paperwork, including pre-trip and trailer inspection sheets.
• Communicate with other drivers and administration staff; contribute to a positive work environment.
• Maintain clean trucks and trailers; assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Job Duties

Perform trailer movements between the four (4) Nor-Am facilities located in Saint Joseph, MO and our local customers based on their needs.

Complete daily equipment inspections per company requirements.

Follows all regulations and speed limits when on public roads as well as on Nor-Am property and the property of all customers.

Complete necessary daily paperwork. Includes pre-trip and trailer inspection sheets.

Communicate with other drivers and administration staff, contributes to and maintains a positive work environment.

Responsible for maintaining clean trucks and trailers.

Employee will, on occasion, be required to assist with warehouse duties in between trailer moves. This will include manual warehouse operations as well as operating a pallet jack.
