Warehouse Lead
Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).
Essential Functions
- Ability to complete all essential functions of Warehouse Associate position.
- Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
- Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
- Communicate instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse.
- Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded.
- Prepare the documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
- Communicate with carriers to ensure on time and form the collection and/or loading of the finished product.
- Review operator and carrier line data in Tracking Platform.
- Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
- Communicate any deviation, problem, or abnormality with the equipment, processes, and products.
- Perform any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked by team member’s manager or supervisor.
Travel requirements: No traveling is required for this position.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
- 4 Years – Experience in Position.
- 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
- 6 Years – Experience working in Position.
- 6 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Competencies
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle.
- Intermediate Knowledge of storage systems.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization.
- Ability to resolve conflicts.
- Ability to analyze information.
Education
Minimum Required: High School Diploma.
Preferred: Associate's Degree.
