Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide a shipping and receiving team and coordinate loading of finished products to trailers. You will prepare the necessary Bill of Lading and invoices and communicate with carriers to ensure on‑time pickup.

The role emphasizes maintaining SQF food safety practices, coordinating with warehouse equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation for orders and deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High School Diploma; preferred: Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Experience leading shipping/receiving teams and coordinating logistics.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Manage the flow of loading finished products to trailers.

Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Ability to complete all essential functions of Warehouse Associate position.
  • Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
  • Communicate instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded.
  • Prepare the documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure on time and form the collection and/or loading of the finished product.
  • Review operator and carrier line data in Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviation, problem, or abnormality with the equipment, processes, and products.
  • Perform any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked by team member’s manager or supervisor.

Travel requirements: No traveling is required for this position.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 Years – Experience in Position.
  • 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 6 Years – Experience working in Position.
  • 6 Years – Experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
Competencies
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle.
  • Intermediate Knowledge of storage systems.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate with different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to analyze information.
Education

Minimum Required: High School Diploma.

Preferred: Associate's Degree.
