Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead is an integral part of the Operations Team by ensuring accurate inventory levels, managing Kanban items replenishment, leading receiving process and supporting kitting process for production.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw goods
2. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and enforcing security procedures/protocols
3. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts
4. Maintain organization of warehouse and identify opportunities for improvement
5. Oversee kitting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of production kits to the production area
6. Support training of any new Warehouse employees or other employees interacting with Warehouse
7. Identify and find new opportunities to improve safety and inventory control procedures
8. Maintain, update, and report key performance indicators to plant management daily
9. Other job duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

1. Demonstrated commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives
2. Demonstrated ability to get positive results through influence, persuasion, leadership, presentations, training, and group facilitation skills
3. Ability to think strategically and interact with all levels of the organization
4. Problem Solver with the ability to innovate and improve processes
5. High ethical standards
6. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
7. Skilled with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
8. Experience working with ERP software (Microsoft AX) strongly desired
9. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment to support production efficiency, prevent product damage, and prevent injuries
10. Demonstrated warehouse experience with progressive responsibility in a warehouse role
11. Experience managing others preferred
12. Experience in the building industry, manufacturing or high-volume logistics preferred
13. Strong attention to detail

Compensation

1. The hourly pay rate is $20 - $26/hr
