Job summary

Randstad USA partners with an employer in Savannah, GA to fill a Warehouse Lead role overseeing daily warehousing, inventory, and logistics operations including order fulfillment, receiving, stock organization, and 3PL coordination.

The role requires 3–5 years of fast-paced warehouse experience (chemical industry preferred), SAP expertise, and proven leadership; you will train staff, perform safety audits, and ensure accurate, timely deliveries while maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Proven team lead or peer-training experience.
• SAP experience highly preferred; strong computer and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication across multi-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily receiving, picking, QC, packing, and shipping (FTL, LTL, parcel). Ensure safe handling, storage, and 5S warehouse standards.
• Process Sales Orders, complete PGI, and manage daily SAP transactions. Ensure month-end delivery closures and provide daily open-order reports to Customer Service.
• Direct cycle counts, track min/max consumable levels, manage waste/packaging returns, and inspect stock for damages or discrepancies.
• Serve as primary contact for Supply Network Planners, Customer Service, Regulatory, and Lab teams (including waste drum management). Coordinate 3PL delivery releases and export paperwork.
• Train and cross-train team members, lead EHS/safety audits, and oversee regular equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks).

The Warehouse Lead oversees daily warehousing, inventory, and logistics operations. This hands‑on role leads order fulfillment, inbound receiving, stock organization, and team coordination while supporting 3PL operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
