Job summary

Bauer Built, a Midwestern tire distribution and service leader, seeks a Warehouse Lead to guide daily shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory. You will model safety, productivity, and quality while coordinating with other departments to smooth workflows.

Preferred candidates bring 2+ years in warehousing, supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Previous lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Serve as a hands-on leader, setting safety, productivity, and quality examples.
• Assign and monitor tasks to warehouse associates to meet daily goals.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to the team.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues and coordinate workflow.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies consistently.
• Delivery driver duties as assigned.
• Tire Technician work as needed.
