The Warehouse Lead will oversee and manage the daily warehouse operations at our non-dairy processing facility in Naugatuck, CT. The role involves receiving, processing, and organizing inventory using SAP Business One and scanners, working predominantly in a refrigerated environment. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping orders, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner. Required to wear food safety/sanitation clothing. This position necessitates conformance to personal hygiene regulations. Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current. Vigilantly monitor equipment operation for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
Occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds, operate a forklift, and work in a refrigerated environment.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, outside weather in all conditions, and chemicals used in the process.
