Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for a fast-paced EMS environment in Milpitas, CA. You will supervise warehouse operations, drive process improvements, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, implementing cost-saving initiatives, supporting training and development, and coordinating resources to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience in an EMS environment.
  • 3 years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred (Stand-Up Reach).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of import/export compliance and warehouse best practices.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement familiarity preferred.
  • Understanding of EMS operations and NPI processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehouse operations, systems, and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor department KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
  • Support training, mentoring, performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures; support ISO/QMS compliance.
  • Assist with resource planning to meet production goals and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide daily guidance to Material Handlers and warehouse staff; prepare reports and maintain records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for one of our clients in a fast-paced Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse processes, driving operational improvements, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Assist in supervising warehouse operations, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Monitor department KPIs and operational metrics and take corrective action as needed.Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.Support employee training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and development plans.Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.Support Quality Management Systems and ISO compliance requirements.Assist with resource planning to meet production and operational goals.Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Provide daily guidance and support to Material Handlers and warehouse staff.Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience in an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) environment.Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience.Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.Previous forklift experience preferred, specifically Stand-Up Reach Forklift.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of import/export compliance requirements and warehouse best practices.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.Understanding of EMS industry operations and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
