Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Marysville, OH is seeking a Warehouse Lead for a full-time, first-shift role starting at 4am. This position runs Monday–Friday with every other Saturday, reporting to the Warehouse Manager and overseeing packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory warehouse experience, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requirements include a minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies when needed.
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members.
