Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Lead to manage daily packing, shipping, receiving and inventory activities. This full-time role partners with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth operations and accurate shipments.

Ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a supervisory role, strong communication, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to grow within a family-oriented company offering health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) match.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
