Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Lead to join our team in Greensburg, IN. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, overseeing packing, shipping, receiving and inventory activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team and ensure efficient packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Support Warehouse Supervisor in daily operations and staffing.
• Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments; handle lifting/carrying of materials.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures; address discrepancies with the team.
• Assist with inventory counts and order warehouse supplies as needed.
• Assist in selecting, training, motivating, and reviewing team members.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Lead, Full-time. This position is Monday - Friday 7am-4pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
