Position: Warehouse Lead
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assign staff to verify counts, carton dimensions and reweigh shipments accurately, record amounts on reweigh & dim sheets
- Process outbound shipments for drops at the TDG/Air carriers
- Record all OS&D issues on paperwork and to the OS&D department
- Receive inbound truckloads and ensure freight staged securely
- Work with the office staff to expedite the processing of shipments
- Certified operator of forklifts
- Oversee labeling customer goods with identifying information for shippers’ BOL/cartage agent paperwork
- Oversee loading freight into rail, ocean and OTR containers by hand or using material handling equipment per customer routing directions
- Ensure that dock checks are performed to confirm accuracy of on hand inventory and physical location
- Report all injuries, mishaps, damages, and problems to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure that all safety rules are always followed
- Maintain a safe environment while you Open and or Close Facility
- Support the maintenance of both the facility and equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and dock as well as the area surrounding the facility
- Support Facility Manager with escorting vendors for repairs and maintenance when needed
- Support OS&D personnel with dock checks and damaged shipments
- Follow all TSA rules and regulations
- Compliance to company policies with respect to the employee handbook, safety regulations and use of company supplied equipment/resources
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be proficient with Excel, Word and Transoft
