TRIGO Global Quality Solutions in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, ensure safety, and optimize efficiency across receiving, storage and distribution processes.

You will coordinate with site management and customers to ensure smooth logistics and accurate reporting, while driving continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2- or 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in a warehouse supervisory role.

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Warehouse Lead Position in Auburn Hills, MI.

Overall Purpose

Oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, ensure safety, optimize efficiency and ensure smooth and efficient logistics

Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies & QMS

Reports to

Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and site personnel
• Communicate daily with various stakeholders at the site level
• Ensure clear and transparent communication to clients

Operations

• Assist in the management of the warehouse and warehouse associates in compliance with company's policies and vision
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts when required
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse in accordance with housekeeping standards
• Contact suppliers to dispose of nonconformances
• Monitor costs related to warehouse operations, including equipment, supplies, etc.
• Report damaged material to customers
• Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performed
• Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance to quality standards and specifications
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Complete audits to ensure work instructions and policies are followed
• Demonstrate commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
• Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Organization & management

• Act as a liaison between the Site Leadership and other warehouse associates
• Create and maintain a 5S working environment

Technical

• Update daily system entries in company and Customer portals
• Create and maintain customer and company reports
• Analyze technical requirements for customers jobs/missions (existing or upcoming)
• Troubleshoot and problem solve with the supplier and customer for issues pertaining to process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills
• Create electronic work instructions and have the ability to navigate company and customer websites and portals

Other

• Any other duties as assigned
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent Computer skills - Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Ability to lift/ move 50 lbs.
• Able to write work instructions
• Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
