TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Auburn Hills, MI to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will manage receiving, storage, and distribution, while coordinating with clients and suppliers to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse supervision, strong communication in English, and knowledge of WMS and KPIs. A high school diploma is required, with degree preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Experience writing work instructions and knowledge of WMS.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations and supervise warehouse associates.
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution by following policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform audits as needed.
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met.
  • Update system entries and generate reports for clients and management.
  • Identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement changes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients to resolve issues and nonconformances.

Job description

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Warehouse Lead Position in Auburn Hills, MI.

Overall Purpose

Oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, ensure safety, optimize efficiency and ensure smooth and efficient logistics

Support and contribute to the company Quality Policies & QMS

Reports to

Site Manager

Responsibilities
Client relationship & Business development
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and site personnel
  • Communicate daily with various stakeholders at the site level
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication to clients
Operations
  • Assist in the management of the warehouse and warehouse associates in compliance with company's policies and vision
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts when required
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse in accordance with housekeeping standards
  • Contact suppliers to dispose of nonconformances
  • Monitor costs related to warehouse operations, including equipment, supplies, etc.
  • Report damaged material to customers
  • Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performed
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance to quality standards and specifications
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Complete audits to ensure work instructions and policies are followed
  • Demonstrate commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
  • Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies
Organization & management
  • Act as a liaison between the Site Leadership and other warehouse associates
  • Create and maintain a 5S working environment
Technical
  • Update daily system entries in company and Customer portals
  • Create and maintain customer and company reports
  • Analyze technical requirements for customers jobs/missions (existing or upcoming)
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve with the supplier and customer for issues pertaining to process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills
  • Create electronic work instructions and have the ability to navigate company and customer websites and portals

Work experience
  • 2+ years of work experience in a warehouse supervisory role
  • 3+ years in warehousing environment is preferred
  • Logistics experience required
Education background
  • High school diploma or equivalent
