Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our Arlington, TX team. We are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution.
Education/Certification(s)
Preferred Experience for Warehouse Lead
- 1 year of Warehouse Lead experience
- Extensive warehouse experience
- 1 year of experience on a sit-down forklift
- 1 year of experience on a manlift (cherry picker)
Requirements for Warehouse Lead
- Must have basic computer skills and experience using a WMS system
- Positive attitude and the ability to motivate employees
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Quality control skills
- Ability to do accurate work

Compensation
Starting at $20 per hour depending on experience
Job Duties
- Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management.
- Supervise employees to ensure productivity.
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean, neat, and well-organized to facilitate efficient work.
- Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate areas for restocking.
- Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
- Stock parts on racks in proper locations.
- Pull orders from warehouse stock and distribute parts accordingly.
- Assist in counting and reconciling physical inventory.
- Move products manually and with mechanical aids.
- Organize and secure products for transportation or movement.
- Load trucks and secure products.
- Enforce company and HR policies consistently.
- Administer disciplinary actions as needed and participate in performance evaluations.
- Monitor employee hours and report absences via computer.
- Manage employee timecards.
- Evaluate and conduct performance reviews for subordinates.
- Communicate daily summaries as directed.
- Secure the building at the close of business.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Managers and Supervisors.
