Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join our Arlington, TX team. We are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution.

Education/Certification(s)

• High school degree

Preferred Experience for Warehouse Lead

• 1 year of Warehouse Lead experience
• Extensive warehouse experience
• 1 year of experience on a sit-down forklift
• 1 year of experience on a manlift (cherry picker)

Requirements for Warehouse Lead

• Must have basic computer skills and experience using a WMS system
• Positive attitude and the ability to motivate employees
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Quality control skills
• Ability to do accurate work

Compensation

Starting at $20 per hour depending on experience

Job Duties

1. Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management.
2. Supervise employees to ensure productivity.
3. Ensure that the warehouse is clean, neat, and well-organized to facilitate efficient work.
4. Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate areas for restocking.
5. Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
6. Stock parts on racks in proper locations.
7. Pull orders from warehouse stock and distribute parts accordingly.
8. Assist in counting and reconciling physical inventory.
9. Move products manually and with mechanical aids.
10. Organize and secure products for transportation or movement.
11. Load trucks and secure products.
12. Enforce company and HR policies consistently.
13. Administer disciplinary actions as needed and participate in performance evaluations.
14. Monitor employee hours and report absences via computer.
15. Manage employee timecards.
16. Evaluate and conduct performance reviews for subordinates.
17. Communicate daily summaries as directed.
18. Secure the building at the close of business.
19. Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Managers and Supervisors.
