Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator at our Liberty facility (on-site) to safely move product in and out of coolers and designated areas using a jack. You will support production and shipping by picking, transporting, repacking, weighing, and staging product while keeping the work area clean and orderly.

The role requires ability to work 2nd shift in a damp, cold plant environment, with overtime as needed, and a willingness to perform maintenance tasks and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand paperwork in English.
• Ability to communicate verbally with supervisors and coworkers.
• Must be trained or able to be trained to safely operate an electric jack.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working in damp, cold production environments.
• Able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely move product using electric or manual jack in coolers and plant areas.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment and transport to proper areas.
• Assemble merchandise for shipment and load to shipping locations.
• Operate material handling equipment and perform daily maintenance tasks as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area; assist with special projects.
