Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator for the Liberty facility on the 2nd shift. You will move product with a jack, pick orders for shipment, assemble merchandise, and support shipping and daily plant operations in a poultry production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English and identify items on paperwork.
• Able to communicate verbally with supervisors and associates.
• Willing to be trained to safely operate an electric jack.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to work in a damp, cold, and production-based environment.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely move product using an electric or manual jack.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct items.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment.
• Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
• Repack and weigh orders and report quality variances.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and assist with projects.
• Repair, install, and adjust machinery and equipment, including parts replacement and routine or preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
