Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator to move product in and out of coolers and cold areas, using an electric or manual jack. You will pick orders, assemble merchandise, and transport items to shipping areas while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires training to operate the jack, ability to work overtime, and compliance with safety and post-offer drug screening. On-site, full-time, 2nd shift at the Liberty facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand paperwork.
• Must be able to operate an electric jack or be trained to do so.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening post-offer.

Responsibilities

• Safely move product using jack and transport as needed.
• Pick customer orders for shipment accurately.

This position supports production and shipping operations by accurately picking, transporting, assembling, repacking, weighing, and staging product while maintaining a clean and orderly work area. The role also assists with daily maintenance tasks, special projects, and other duties as assigned to support safe, efficient plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely move product in and out of coolers, freezers, and designated plant areas using an electric or manual jack.Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and transported to the appropriate area.Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms using material handling equipment.Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.Repack and weigh orders that require additional handling when necessary and report any quality variances.Perform daily maintenance tasks and assist with special projects as needed.Repair, install, and adjust machinery and equipment, including parts replacement and routine or preventative maintenance, as assigned.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the Supervisor.Benefits: Farmer Focus offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support team members’ health, financial well-being, and professional growth. Team members must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, damp, cold, and chilled conditions within the plant. The role requires constant walking throughout the plant while picking and delivering products, along with bending and standing for extended periods. Team members must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Hearing and eye protective equipment are required in production areas, and team members must wear hair and beard nets where required.This position does not have an application deadline.
