Job summary

FORTÉ is a 100% employee-owned company with 50+ years of experience, delivering systems that power connected workplaces. We seek an on-site Warehouse/Shipping professional in Plainview, NY, to receive, inspect, label, and distribute deliveries; process shipments; and coordinate inventory across departments.

You will perform cycle counts and work with Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with order flow, shipping links, and stock variance reports.
• Working knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, inspect, label and distribute or store incoming deliveries.
• Process outgoing shipments with UPS, FedEx and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate material requests and document inventory.
• Generate bills of lading and schedule pickups/deliveries.
• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods inventory.
• Maintain knowledge of shipping and inventory processes.
