Job summary

Sysco Irvine is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately select products from the warehouse, assemble orders, label items, and stage shipments for dispatch. This role requires attention to detail and safe handling of goods in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate an electric pallet jack, read orders from screens, and ensure proper sequencing and labeling while following GMP and SQF procedures, with ability to work 10–12 hour shifts in coolers or freezers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Able to lift 10–75 lbs repeatedly, up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches and stand 10–12 hours daily.
• Work in coolers and/or freezers with extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screen and select products by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on products.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move items to the proper slot and dock area for staging.
• Handle products with care and report damages to a supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment checks and assist in keeping the facility clean.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF policies as described in Sysco safety manuals.
