Job summary

The American Red Cross in Columbus, OH is seeking a Stock Inventory Warehouse Assistant to stock and process blood-product supplies from a central warehouse. You’ll receive and ship totes, assist warehouse staff, and coordinate with volunteers for the kitting operation.

A forklift certification may be required, and a valid driver’s license is needed. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pay at $17.69 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to one year related warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and shipment of totes to sites.
• Cross-train staff to ensure department coverage.
• Coordinate with volunteer partners for kitting operations.
• Inspect and report discrepancies; store and stock materials.
• Operate PIT equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Data entry and reporting in inventory systems.
• Other duties as required.
