Job summary

Mesa County Valley School District 51 is hiring a Warehouse Worker to support district operations by receiving, storing, and delivering supplies across schools and departments. The role includes inventory control, handling surplus property, and assisting with events and mail/courier tasks.

Work involves driving district vehicles as needed and following safety regulations. CDL may be required for some CDL-designated roles; non-CDL positions may follow a modified work calendar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with inventory systems, order fulfillment, or material handling is preferred.
• Forklift operation training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and check deliveries against purchase orders.
• Enter delivery and inventory data into the district system.
• Identify damaged or incorrect items and handle returns as needed.
• Deliver supplies on a regular schedule to District sites.
• Store and move materials following safety guidelines.
• Assist with surplus property management and redistribution of items.
• Complete work orders for moving and setting up furniture and equipment.
• Transport district equipment and assist with event setups.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse spaces.
