Job summary

Kiva Confections, a California-based cannabis-infused edibles company, seeks a Product Intake Specialist to unload shipments, sign paperwork, and stock warehouse inventory. Some shifts involve stocking the retail floor to ensure products are readily available to the team.

The ideal candidate has strong physical fitness, forklift experience, and excellent organizational skills, including 2 years handling live inventory and WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience handling live inventory & WMS/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge in warehouse inventory management through WMS software.
• Ability to create new, more efficient processes from scratch.
• Ability to generate solutions to problems ad hoc.
• Forklift Operator Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload all incoming shipments to the warehouse.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse.
• Replenish inventory when necessary.
• Count all inventory, document and report issues in ERP.
• Receive Purchase Orders or Sales Orders in ERP system.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with procurement to list expected deliveries.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices.
• Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
• Return unsatisfactory shipments or arrange replacements.
