Job summary

Kiva Confections, a leading California cannabis-infused edibles company, is hiring a Product Intake Specialist to manage warehouse intake and inventory flow. You will unload deliveries, sign paperwork, and store products across warehouse sections, ensuring availability for retail teams and reporting issues via ERP systems.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, forklift experience, and physical fitness. Relevant experience and a forklift certification are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience handling live inventory & WMS/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge in warehouse inventory management through WMS software.
• Ability to create new, more efficient processes from scratch.
• Ability to generate solutions to problems ad hoc.
• Forklift Operator Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload all incoming shipments to the warehouse.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse.
• Replenish inventory when necessary.
• Count all inventory, document and report all issues in our ERP systems.
• Receive Purchase Orders or Sales Orders in our ERP System.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.).
• Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified.
• Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
