Job summary

Kiva Confections is seeking a Product Intake Specialist to join our California warehouse team in Los Angeles. You will unload shipments, sign paperwork, store inventory, replenish stock, and ensure products are available to the retail team. Strong organizational skills and forklift experience are highly valued.

The role emphasizes accuracy in ERP/WMS processes, collaboration with procurement, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness while supporting ongoing growth in the cannabis sector.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience handling live inventory & WMS/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge in warehouse inventory management through WMS software.
• Ability to create new, more efficient processes from scratch.
• Ability to generate solutions to problems ad hoc.
• Forklift Operator Certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload all incoming shipments to the warehouse
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
• Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse
• Replenish inventory when necessary
• Count all inventory, document and report all issues in our ERP systems.
• Receive Purchase Orders or Sales Orders in our ERP System
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse
• Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
• Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
• Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
