Job summary

Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC) is hiring a Supply Team Associate for our Division Warehouse in Arrington, VA. The role focuses on maintaining an accurate inventory of materials for utility construction and maintenance, filling work orders, and performing warehouse administration.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, 4+ years storeroom experience, a Virginia driver's license, and proficiency with Word/Excel; forklift experience is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and four years of storeroom operations experience or equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Receive vendor materials, verify quantity and PO accuracy
• Enter receipts into inventory management system and store materials
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to stock and move items
• Prepare items for outgoing transport, crates/labels, and arrange carrier pickup
• Plan and fill work orders, reconcile material charges in the system
• Conduct monthly and annual transformer stock inventories and documentation
• Maintain tool stock, issue tools, and replenish supplies for personnel
• Assist with daily warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance
