Virginia Eagle Distributing Company in Winchester, VA seeks a Warehouse Associate II for the day shift. You will operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, restock inventory in a fast-paced CEW, and ensure on-time order fulfillment for trucks.

The role requires forklift experience, strong safety practices, and ability to lift heavy items throughout long shifts. The team thrives in a high-noise environment with temperature control in the CEW.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience required or preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and verify quantities.
• Strong attendance and reliability for day shift.
• Ability to lift 15–40+ lbs repeatedly in a long shift.
• Work in a high-noise, controlled environment; PPE required.
• Must be able to work with safety protocols and chain-of-custody handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts and walk-behind pallet jacks to restock and move pallets.
• Maintain CEW organization and product levels daily.
• Keep floors clean; address spills promptly and manage outdoor areas.
• Identify damaged products and handle out-of-code items per policy.
• Reload dunnage and prepare items for supplier returns weekly.
• Assist with picking delivery routes using EasyPick scanning system.
