Job summary

CRRC Sifang America in Illinois seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing and shipping materials in the stockroom and yard. You will plan work, allocate tasks, and ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.

You will run SAP reports and prepare Excel/Word reports, advise staff on handling stock, and coordinate with production, quality and procurement to manage inventories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Advises employees on care and handling of stock and use of equipment.
• Studies records and recommends remedial actions for non-usable or excess stock.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance with procedures and stock levels.
• Schedules inventories and coordinates with production, quality, and procurement.
• Runs SAP reports and prepares reports in Excel and Word.
