Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in the greater El Monte area on an open-ended temporary basis. The role pays $25/hr and requires 3+ years in warehouse or inventory control, with leadership experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will manage cycle counts, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate with purchasing, operations, and customer service to resolve issues. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse team in daily operations and workflow management.
• Coordinate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse management systems.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper product storage practices.
• Train, coach, and assist warehouse associates on procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and customer service teams to resolve inventory and fulfillment issues.
• Track key performance metrics and provide regular inventory and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
