Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a utility warehouse worker to support daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, safe facility.

Responsibilities include counting stock, reconciling discrepancies, generating inventory reports, and assisting with cycle counts; requires 1+ year inventory experience, HS diploma, ability to lift 60–90 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computer figures and investigates discrepancies.
• Maintains and reconciles inventory records and supports shrink control.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and weekly cycle counts.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
