Job summary

IndiMade Brands in Independence Township, OH, is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform scheduled and ad-hoc inventory counts to verify accuracy in the distribution warehouse. You will help maintain correct stock levels for fulfillment and production.

You will reconcile counts against the warehouse management system, investigate discrepancies, adjust records as authorized, and collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams. RF scanners and basic computer systems are used daily.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months in a warehouse/inventory distribution.
• Basic math and attention to detail essential.
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS (NetSuite/Shiphawk) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of assigned inventory locations according to a set schedule.
• Reconcile physical counts against warehouse management system (WMS) records.
• Investigate and document the root cause of count discrepancies.
• Adjust inventory records as authorized to correct verified discrepancies.
• Report recurring or high-value discrepancies to the Inventory Control Manager.
• Maintain organized, labeled, and accurately located inventory throughout assigned areas.
• Support annual/periodic full physical inventory counts.
• Use RF scanners and WMS software to record count data.
• Identify damaged, expired, or mislabeled product and route per company procedure.
• Collaborate with receiving, picking, and shipping teams to resolve inventory location issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with warehouse safety standards.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Position Summary

The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing scheduled and ad‑hoc physical inventory counts to verify inventory accuracy in the distribution warehouse. This role identifies and helps resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, supporting accurate stock levels for fulfillment and production operations.

Requirements

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of warehouse, inventory, or distribution center experience
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use handheld RF scanners and basic computer systems
• Prior cycle counting or inventory control experience
• Experience with a WMS (e.g., NetSuite, Shiphawk, or similar)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Bend, squat, climb, and perform repetitive motions as needed.
• Push or pull carts and materials up to 500 lbs.
• Tolerance for working around fragrances, oils, or natural ingredients

Basic Schedule

• Monday through Friday 7:30am until 4:00pm; overtime as needed
