Job summary

Hit Promotional Products, based in Largo, FL, is seeking a Cycle Counter to support warehouse inventory goals. You will perform selected cycle counts, adjust the system, and help maintain accuracy across locations.

Candidates should be able to lift 40 lbs, operate stock picker lifts, and have 3–5 years in a warehouse with AS-400 or similar WMS. Responsibilities include investigating discrepancies, reconciling counts, reporting metrics, and ensuring labeling requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3–5 years in a warehouse.
• Able to lift 40 lbs repetitively and operate stock picker lifts.
• Experience with AS-400 or updated warehouse management system (WMS).
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices and MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research inventory discrepancies and make corrections.
• Oversee physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
• Document and control aged & damaged products; ensure labeling compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and related reports for management.
• Interface with external auditors.

Regular - Hourly Full-Time Manual Labor Largo, FL, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Position Overview:

The Cycle Counter works off of Customer Service requests and lists set up by our IT department to accomplish the inventory goals of the warehouse. The Cycle Counter will take a sample of inventory to be physically counted, then adjust inventory in system to accurately represent physical stock numerous times daily. Cycle counting is a popular inventory counting solution that allows businesses to count a small subset of inventory, in a specific location, on a specific day.

Essential Job Functions:

• Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
• Responsible for overseeing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner.
• Documenting and controlling aged & damaged products.
• Ensuring all labeling requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Maintaining Inventory Accuracy Metrics and associated reports for management
• Interface with external auditors

Requirements:

• Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively.
• Be able to operate stock picker lifts.
• High School Diploma is a must, but some college preferred.
• 3-5 yrs. Experience in a warehouse
• Working knowledge of AS-400 or some kind of updated warehouse management system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Understand F.I.F.O. inventory practices.
