Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Jewett, TX, is seeking an onsite Warehouse Associate to perform material care, custody and control for construction field activities, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory control.

You will operate forklifts, palletize, pack, document shipments, and help maintain accurate inventory while following safety rules. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with overtime, nights, and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Communicate effectively with management and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Selects and prepares daily shipments, including pulling orders and completing paperwork for freight carriers.
• Palletizes and wraps pallets; delivers orders to designated shipping areas or disciplines.
• Assists in loading trucks and unloading received items from trailers.
• Inspects items for damage or defects and identifies short shipments.
• Packs and labels stock items and maintains inventory records.
• Performs onsite warehouse inventories, maintenance and restocking; supports backorder fulfillment.
• Ensures shipping/receiving documents are accurate and timely.
• May operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts and related equipment.
