Job summary

The Industrial Company (TIC) is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate in Abilene, TX. You will perform onsite material care, custody and control in support of construction field activities and maintain inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include packing, shipping, loading trucks, operating forklifts, and ensuring compliance with safety rules. Candidates should have basic tools, ability to lift and work outdoors in all weather and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with prior field experience.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in chosen craft discipline.
• Knowledge of safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily warehouse activities, including shipping/receiving and inventory control.
• Prepare daily shipments, pull orders, package, and complete freight paperwork.
• Palletize, wrap skids, and deliver orders to shipping area or job sites.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed.
• Inspect items for damage and shortages.
• Pack and label stock items.
• Perform onsite warehouse inventories and restocking.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and document shorts.
• Ensure shipping/receiving documents are accurate and on time.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as required.
