Job summary

Johnson Controls in Texas is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, put-away, picking, and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and computers to process transactions and maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory movement principals.
• Basic knowledge of inquiry and entry on the computer.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Identify parts and part numbers and perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to understand stocking of inventory product procedure and the movement of inventory product.
• As a condition of employment, active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely receipt and disposition of component part materials by order selection or put away process.
• Insure the proper and expeditious pick of all parts as requested by leads.
• Material handling.
• Computer entry transactions (Scan devices).
• Perform inventory analyst duties as needed.
