Job summary

Staples Supply Chain in Portland, OR is seeking a warehouse associate to support inventory control and warehouse clerk roles. You may move between tasks such as inventory reconciliation and order fulfillment while operating forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks in a safety-focused environment.

You will collaborate with teammates to resolve discrepancies, perform basic housekeeping, and demonstrate strong computer skills with Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, and WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen to the extent permissible by law.
• Overtime may be required for full-time staff based on business needs.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Willingness to be trained and certified on material handling equipment (forklift, etc).

Responsibilities

• Review inventory and reconcile discrepancies to minimize differences.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product safely.
• Confirm product accuracy and address discrepancies with colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to resolve issues.
• May be moved between SC3, SC2, or SC1 roles as needed.
