Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk in Missouri to drive warehouse flow, ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipping, and support efficient yard operations. You will coordinate with the site manager, direct the picking/loading team, and maintain accuracy across inbound and outbound shipments.

The role requires 2+ years of warehouse experience (steel or tubing preferred), strong math and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years warehouse experience.
• Steel or tubing industry experience preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn bar-coding systems.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour certification within first weeks/months.

Responsibilities

• Drives workflow in the warehouse under the site manager's direction.
• Directs picking/loading staff based on the manager's plan.
• Check loads for accuracy before shipment as needed.
• Greets inbound/outbound drivers, checks them in/out, and directs truck traffic in the yard.
• Prints batch and shipping labels for the picking/loading team.
• Receives and processes incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
• Inspects materials for damage and documents issues.
• Replenishes stock and rotates inventory using forklifts or reach trucks.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Participates in process improvements and helps standardize procedures.
• Adheres to safety, quality, and company guidelines.
