Job Description: The Warehouse Inventory and Process Improvement Specialist manages the warehouse profile to optimize picking efficiency and storage capacity at the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate master data, managing inventory profiles, identifying process improvements, and implementing solutions to streamline operations supporting the production team.

  1. Manage warehouse profile for optimal picking efficiency across all areas including Pick to Belts, Autostore, Pallet Racks, and Specialty areas.
  2. Collaborate with material planners and analyze SAP reports related to slotting and incoming freight.
  3. Oversee consolidation activities to maintain sufficient storage locations.
  4. Use Cubiscan to maintain accurate dimensions and weight data in SAP.
  5. Utilize Logivation slotting program to optimize material movement and storage profiles.
  6. Generate weekly KPI reports and develop action plans for improvement.
  7. Coordinate with packaging engineers and approve pallet layouts.
  8. Oversee physical product movements within the facility.
  9. Manage warehouse bin location setup, removal, and sorting.
  10. Analyze data on warehouse operations and performance metrics.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ year experience in inventory profiling and slotting; 2+ years preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and statistical analysis.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree or supply chain certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Experience in a distribution center environment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Dependability, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure are required.

Additional Information: The estimated salary range is $56,180 - $64,064 USD, with potential variations based on experience and other factors.
